The HR/Reimbursement Specialists is will be responsible for managing Medicare billing and insurance verification, accounts receivables, assist in benefits plan maintenance, managing hiring, termination, and assisting in on-boarding of new employees.
This position primary duties are to perform a variety of human resource and billing/coding duties. Primary duties includes- codes all billing accurately and effectively, executes billing for all visits and payor sources in a timely manner, verifies insurance and payment information on new admissions, and Understands State and Federal regulations relating to billing and updates this information periodically. HR duties include--payroll, 401(k) and medical insurance, new employee orientation responsibilities.,
Associates Degree, preferable in accounting, human resources or health services field
Minimum one year experience in a medical office, preferable with Medicare and Medicaid billing experience.
Certified Coder is a plus.
Computer proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and QuickBooks.
A combination of education and experience will be considered.
